A weapon from eons gone by
Lies dormant, a ring in the sky
When along comes a green
Armored chaos machine
Who destroys it with his lovely AI

*I couldn't think of a better adjective than lovely. I went from awesome, to sexy, to trusty, and lovely seemed the best fit at the time.

This is nearly perfect - but the 'it' in the final sentence screws the meter. You should consider dropping it. :) (Still works nicely as a limerick without it.)
