I think some kind of game mode that has a couple of public events pop up would be fun. Have a VIP target run through the map and the team that kills it gets bonus points. Have a warsat that becomes a king of the hill moment. Stuff like that.
King of the Warsat mode, YES! Please! Sure, they have something vaguely similar, salvage, but it's just not the same.
