But this does not mean that your 'Year 1 only' Gjallarhorn is going to be 'left behind', Yeeessssss?

From attack values shown, it appears so right now. It's possible they didn't show us something of course, but only Year 2 weapons and armor will be able to be Infused, so I'm not sure the exotics stuck with Year 1 versions will be upgradeable to Year 2 attack/defense values.
