"Quests" (Destiny)
Sorry to say, but the "Quest" aspect is shit.
Step 1: Kill 50 enemies under radiance.
Step 2: Make 25 orbs.
Step 3: Do I care? This is not a quest. A quest is an exciting adventure. An interesting task. These are bounties. Doing easy things a bunch of times is not fun. Making more bounties and calling them quests is not fun.
Bungie has said they have reorganized everything - big and small - into the 'quest' format that evolved out of Dark Below and furthered in House of Wolves. That is what they meant by 'quests' - the format. Some will be little tutorials, some will weave us through the storyline and have cinematics.
What I believe you are specifically referring to here are the only quests I had available on my main character - and those are subclass introductions. These are not meant to be epic adventures; they're meant to get new players introduced to new subclasses (which we, long-term Destiny players, already have, but since they have just been added, they're still an option for us to grab).
Bungie has said they have included tutorial quests like these to introduce new players to Crucible and tour modes they have never tried, etc.
The full game had better have quests that are actually interesting. Sad to see Bungie did not learn a single thing.
And these are the kind of sentences that I don't reply to.
