There are a number of ways, but I've found that the most reliable so far is just to dismantle the Legendary gear/weapons that you get (all Year 2) that you don't plan on keeping forever. The daily Crucible gives 15, so there's that...

So. It seems the majority of your marks come from doing daily activities. This absolutely sucks because this means if you don't log on every day, your progress is slowed and you can't make that up. This makes me so angry that they would stoop to this to get people playing every day.

When they get so much right this time around, it's baffling that there are still these bad decisions let through.

You're complaining that the currency that you need to earn to get good stuff is earned by... doing stuff?

WTF?

If you don't log on every day, you lose ONLY THOSE MARKS YOU COULD HAVE EARNED IF YOU'D LOGGED ON. The ones available to you when you ARE on, playing, do not go anywhere.

If you don't play, yes, your progress is slowed. BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT PLAYING.

Sometimes I simply don't understand what you're complaining about. :(
