zavala did say in the strike that they tried to reach out to rasputin before, and found the poor saps' bodies spread out all over the cosmodrone. So perhaps he has some kind of bots he can use to cleanup/move stuff?

What i find funny is that Rasputin is the badass war AI that the vanguard is scared of, yet we go into his bunker on three separate occasions and save his ass (1 TDB, 2 TTK).
