Hunter stuck at +289 (Destiny)

I feel your pain. For a long time my ghost shell & boots were the primary things holding me down. Thankfully I finally got some boots from the raid & a ghost shell from the Court of Oryx. I don't know about these guys claiming there was no grind to be raid ready, I certainly had to grind to try & get ready for the raid, but it was small compared to trying to be ready for the VoG.

There is still grind but honestly I've gotten to this level with just doing the story and quests. I've done about ten Court of Oryx's and a lot of exploring the Dreadnought. The 3 of coins helped too. :)
