Iron banana should be at least 300 on drops, with the ones you can buy being 310. This allows PVPers to progress without raiding. Then make the Trials gear 310-330 or whatever.

I think IB gear that is for sale should be 300, with the drops having a chance to be higher. If you are going to make the purchasable gear 310, then it needs to have more cost (not necessarily marks, maybe glimmer). With the 2nd/3rd character buffs, people will buy the max items to infuse into other gear.

Personally, i would love to be able to buy 310 gear for infusion, but i doubt Bungie would want us to do that (at least right now). As the light cap goes up, I'd bet that the IB gear levels will go up as well.

I do believe that we need better than 280 gear for all the work that goes into IB. I bought the pulse rifle, and got the sidearm from a drop (283).
