Hmmm, Maybe I'm underestimating my Range stat. (Destiny)

I believe that in regard to a sniper because of the low rate of fore that the first shot should still be dead on accurate. So if your reticule is on point you should hit. The range side of accuracy would help ensure the hit if you are slightly off point.

It actually makes me curious as to what hidden stats there are in the other core stats, what knobs there are. Like I know there is a stat for recoil direction, too.
