A tip I figured:
Refrain from invading the enemy while they are fighting the Primeval until the Primeval has lost some health. This way when you invade and get some kills, it heals their primeval. I was able to get 96% healing on the primeval one game by invading and sniping them when they were focus firing the boss. Keep in mind youll get a couple of invasions while they are fighting the Primeval, unless they just melt them.
Also deposit your motes and reload your guns before you invade..... I learned the hard way.
