Crota normal mode glitchtastic after patch? (Destiny)

I saw some of the same behaviour on my last run, last Friday. Note that this is after the "de-cheezing" patch but before the patch that enables Hard Mode for Crota's End.

-- Steve was a bit baffled by this at first, but the group managed to pull it off anyway after getting the new timing down.
