Put your console in a DMZ? I assume if you already tried everything the internet suggested then you tried that or you otherwise can't do DMZ for one reason or another. But if not, it can usually fix mic issues and the like.

To clarify, Monochron's talking about using the DMZ function on your router to forward all incoming connections to the console (you'd have to try the XBone and PS4 one at a time). If it's a networking problem, this is a good troubleshooting step, just don't leave DMZ enabled permanently.
