FWIW, the code on the underside of my tab is eight digits, but with some combination of 3s, 4s, 7s, and letters. I haven't put the code in yet, but am hopeful that with the inclusion of letters it won't be used already. Hopefully all cans have letters on them, so all the people just plugging in numbers won't be "stealing" from people that spent hard-earned cash on a $3.50 12oz can.
