It's a bit overwhelming (Destiny)

Strangely, I'm a little sad about all of these new promises (I'm not counting on things actually being different until I see them -- Vault Space [cough] [cough]). It's not that I love everything about the game now, but it's comfortable in an old sweatshirt sort of way. I hope all the new stuff doesn't ruin that feeling.

PS What happens if you don't upgrade past HoW? Are there details about what your game world will look like?

You'll probably get all the changes but without new story missions or playspaces being unlocked. The public spaces you have access to will probably have something new in them, akin to Swords of Crota or wolves patrolling. You'll be locked out of activities when they use new content.

That's about what I was thinking. I wonder how much the old missions will change. I still haven't made a Titan... trying to decide if I should make it now or after TTK.
