It'll be interesting to see how this affects older exotics, such as Suros (people will avoid the Focus Fire).

Focus fire is not Suros' "Namesake" perk.

Correct. Though you seem to not understand the post. The "Namesake perk" for Suros can trigger with every bullet. Choosing not to activate Focus Fire might provide an advantage to folks who will benefit from the damage buff AND constant healing from a medium-impact rifle With a high fire rate. Could once again be OP. Focus Fire causes more damage, but less rounds per second means less chances to trigger the exotic perk (and bottom half damage increase).

I'm not complaining, I just thought it would be interesting to monitor.

Yeah, I'm curious to see if they re-work the old exotic perk trees (removing the damage upgrade nodes) or just move/fill that bubble or what.
