This week in Destiny, we have a set of Praxic Time Trials topics as the Community Challenge enters its last week. We also want to spotlight a few videos that are either useful if you are still working on your speedruns or that show off some impressive feats.
First, we wanted to thank Guardians for their participation in the Praxic Blade Time Trial Community Challenge so far! It was brought to our attention, and our Analytics Team confirmed, that there is a slight gap between the in-game timer and when the API reports your clear. To account for this discrepancy, our Analytics Team will be looking for Equilibrium clears under 21 minutes on the API timer.
We recommend that your in-game timer remains below 20 minutes to ensure a successful Praxic Time Trials completion.
If you are a struggling fireteam fighting to land a time below 20 minutes, no worries: here are some tips to help before the Community Challenge ends on March 3!
These are very basic guidelines that are very class agnostic and that rely mostly on the main protagonist of this challenge, the Praxic Blade. We recommend you check out some of the guides online that the always amazing Destiny 2 content creators have put together to help the community. We have two such guides below along with some other amazing videos we've collected.
Here are a handful of selected Praxic Time Trials clips posted by your fellow Guardians. Everyone here is getting the MOTW emblem! Don't forget to add your Bungie IDs to the content if you haven't yet.
We will give away more MOTW emblems next week. These Community Challenges have seen a good reception so we intend to host more in the coming weeks. If you have any ideas or suggestions for them, we'd love to hear them. And if you have a great video to share with us, do so with the #PraxicTimeTrials hashtag.
We've been continuing to add to our New Player Guide over the past weeks and this week is no different. This time, we go over the different activities available in Destiny 2 and what you can get from them!
Destiny 2 is a game with a lot of content and activities to play. In its current iteration, most activities are split between what's available in the Portal, which includes our latest content and The Edge of Fate and Renegades expansion, and what's in the World tab, which covers the content that launched up until The Final Shape expansion.
Check out the new guide section here!
Wondering about updates to the game that came with Update 9.5.5.3? Here's a couple of highlights:

Known Issues List | Help Forums | Destiny 2 Team BlueskyKnown Issues List
- Hunters can't double jump while blocking with the Praxic Blade.
- Flipping through pages in the Expansions tab can cause a visual issue where some tabs display Silver prices over slots that hold items that cannot be bought with Silver.
- We've identified an issue where Renegades campaign activities and Lawless Frontier Jobs default to Normal difficulty. Players can set the difficulty to Expert when launching into these activities if they would like to earn greater rewards. Completing Jobs on either difficulty will not impact Legendary campaign completion triumphs.
- The Inverted Spire Nightfall (non-Portal variant) is not providing rewards at the end of the activity.
- Advanced difficulty Portal activities cannot be launched with the Avante-Garde modifier active.
- Shaping Dead Man's Tale with the Catalyst is causing Revision Zero's Catalyst Triumph to unlock.
- Players are unable to complete Altar of Reflection: Catalyst due to one of the bosses staying immune.
- Wolfsbane's light attacks are displaying the visual effects of Void instead of Solar.
- Khvostov 7G-0X does not gain stacks of Eyes Up, Guardian when picking up Orbs of Power while the Warlock Song of Flame Super is active.
- The description for the Vanguard Alerts: Challenges weekly objective incorrectly references general activity challenges in its description. This objective can be progressed with Vanguard Alert activity challenges or Grandmaster Vanguard Alerts.
Every Guardian's journey is different and each story's uniqueness is a triumph of its own.
SamiKat shared this amazing accomplishment of completing Ghosts of the Deep with only a bow, no HUD, at Master difficulty.
We have no idea how you'd have the mental fortitude to do such a feat, but incredible work.
After 493 hours, 296,941 kills, and 1222 unintentional deaths all to this one particular challenge starting Sept 9, 2023, I have finally done it. IT'S FREAKING MINE!!!

All the Guardians working so hard on the Praxic Time Trials Community Challenge has been a lot of joy to watch! We're planning on introducing new community activations for more rewards and to explore more of the in-game content available in Destiny 2 in the next few weeks. With that in mind, what activities such as story missions (Excision?), user-generated content, or other game activities would you like to see featured? Let us know!
