Strat that worked for my group (Destiny)

My friends and I did it similarly last night. Instead of a designated P3 to grab the gaze at the end of the damage phase, it was whoever received the unstable light from the pool. The only complication was if P1 got the unstable light. This only happened once, but as soon as he got the light we just sent someone else out early to grab the gaze. We didn't assign a specific order after P1 and P2 - we just split the team into left and right sides and swapped the gaze as quickly as possible after the person with unstable light had the gaze.

We didn't do second round of dps for the 6th orb; we didn't want to risk anyone dying. There was time to drop Golgoroth in damage 4 cycles of the one-orb strategy with gaze switching; we did not see an enrage warning.

We used Melting Point and Tether to boost out damage output, and put someone on ad control at the taken wave for safety. I'm not sure if it's been confirmed, but we were operating under the impression that a death on any damage cycle other than the last one would fail the challenge.

*Once the Taken show up, one DPSer player focuses on add control instead.
