Seems like it wouldn't be hard for Bungie to detect anyone who has done this and institute a ban

You wanna drive people away from your game? b/c that's how you drive people away.

This is a problem of their own doing. Maybe they can "take" the items back, i dunno, but i seriously doubt anyone gets banned for this.

Not saying they would, just that they certainly could if they wanted to.
