Halo 5 does that and it's very jarring (Destiny)

I think it's because of the fact that you are holding the ADS trigger, as opposed to a previous one-time event such as a thumb click.

One thing that could happen to help alleviate a bit the issue is knock you out but get you back in a few frames later. The period of time out of ADS should be enough to throw your aim off, since the turn speed is different within.

Or just make the aim-knock be a lot more severe than it currently is.
