if you go into it hoping to be entertained, you're going to totally miss the point, and be disappointed. I guess you could say that it is "tremendously dull", but that's looking at it from a gaming perspective, which you shouldn't be.

Definitely not going to play it. Sounds absolutely awful. Why would anyone do anything like this if it isn't entertaining?

That's on par with saying "why read a book that doesn't have any pictures?"

It's a story told through the interactive medium only available in video games.
It's a great story, and the more you take in, the more you explore and extrapolate, the richer the experience.
I'd give Gone Home a 5/5 for what it is, but action-packed FPS, it is not.
