Turning allies into adversaries (Destiny)

It's interesting from a game design perspective. Some of the heroic events require people to actively work against the traditional encounter. It puts those with knowledge in direct competition with those who don't know any better. I'm not sure that's great for the feelings you get when you encounter blueberries. There's always an anxiety about whether they'll thwart your efforts.
