And did not really like it. The character of young Han Solo almost never worked for me and the movie felt like it believed it was far more clever than it ever was. Even the Kessel Run was boring. It wasn’t much more than Episode I’s “bigger fish” scene with murkier surroundings.

It wasn’t terrible. But it wasn’t good, either. If you ask me, this is Star Wars first modern miss.
