Oh, I wouldn't go that far...

I agree that he is overhyped and that there's not enough that's interesting about him to support an entire solo movie, but he's a great supporting character. I'd like to see him in the next Han Solo movie. (If there is a next one.)

Star Wars is a huge universe. Tell new stories about characters we haven't met yet!

I'm with you on this, though. I want to see new characters and new facets of the universe that haven't been explored before. That's actually a huge part of the reason why I liked this movie so much. I do think we can have our cake and eat it too by getting movies like Solo and Kenobi alongside more risky projects like... well, Rogue One is the riskiest thing they've done so far, but I would be excited for something along the lines of one of the animated shows. Dave Filoni really deserves to have a shot at doing one of these side movies.
