Sony finally decided to support crossplay. (Gaming)

Obviously PC has to stay separate.

Why? Both consoles have keyboard and mouse support.

Microsoft recently announced an official Xbox KB+M in partnership with Razer. It’s developer decision whether to include native support, but even with something like XIM, the benefit of using a mouse is easily available.

Honestly, it’s time to drop this attitude that they have to be separate. People are using work arounds anyway.

Don't think it has anything to do with KB+M. PC Destiny is working on different systems and software version, with custom tuning and balance.

Also framerate. Even if it was PvE only, the games are just run and balanced differently, and I'm sure it'd be a lot of work to get them to click together. Maybe if MS and Sony get rid of Certification, then we can start making progress.

Yeah, what Korny said. They are completely different beasts now. And from a software perspective, that would be a nightmare to support those two beasts playing together.

Like letting a lion and and a bear play together... At least 2 lions understand each other and know what they are capable of even if they don't get along.

[Edit]
I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm just saying we are already complaining about current bugs and how long it takes to get patches out... imagine how long it would take if you had to then compare two different patches that are supposed to do the same thing on two different pieces of software that are interacting with each other. You might as well triple the Development and testing time.
