So the Ammo Finder stacks bug is confirmed fixed? (Destiny)

I just don’t trust user data on that. Working with percentages and RNG makes anecdotal observations meaningless, for the most part. I’ve personally never really been starved for Heavy ammo. Sure, there are times when I don’t have any for a Primeval burn, but that’s usually because I used it to take out more draining blockers, or burn a HVT to summon or something, not because I never got any to drop at any point. I pretty much always get a few bricks per round. I run a Heavy Ammo Finder cloak and usually one other piece with Heavy Finder (can’t recall if it’s helmet or arms that has it).

So no, I guess I don’t really have a clue if the perk is really affecting Heavy ammo drop rates or not, but it seems to work fine.

I share your concerns, but from what I remember of that specific Reddit post, he was pretty thorough in his testing. He based his results on THOUSANDS of kills, carefully tracking the results as he went.

Not saying it’s bullet proof evidence, but I did find it fairly convincing.
