Very good, thanks for the impressions.

I think it might be possible that the folks at Bungie we're surprised at how quickly so many players hit the ceiling with the shipped content. They did make lots of changes since the game released to what we have now, so perhaps things we're underestimated.

(The first time we got queens bounties I shot from 20-26 just from that gear alone, and that was what, 2 weeks after it came out? I never needed blue-item anything.)

I would say you are correct in that you are seeing the pace being set artificially, to extend the life of the content. Be that adding in new currencies, commendations, trading in old gear so that you have to re-level it, mark caps each week- these are just speed bumps to slow you down to hitting 32.

I understand the logic behind that, but there has to be a better way.
