Yep, I've had very similar experiences. My personal favorite was during a VoG run with a bunch of randoms when I stayed back on the sniper perch during the conflux/oracle/templar battle. 1 of my teammates spent the entire encounter yelling at me "What the F$%& are you doing! Get down here you useless piece of S$%t!"

Then, when the team wiped during the templar battle and the score board appeared, he noticed I had more than double the kills of the next player in our fireteam.

He promptly shut the hell up :)
