Light Levels are gone in TTK (Destiny)

Very true. That being said, I wouldn't mind if it DID end up that way. I would rather have new armor be appealing because of interesting perks/abilities, than just because a number is higher. I don't particularly enjoy using armor with perks I don't care about, or stat boosts that don't make sense for my character build, simply because it's the only piece I could get ahold of with 42 light. I say good riddance to that whole mechanic, if it is true.
