Instead of allowing people until September to accomplish the task if they haven't done it yet while at the same time giving everyone else who has succeeded the opportunity to wear it proudly right now... your Bungie Day gift is another thing that requires a grind to obtain, and as a bonus, you have to wait until I'm done attempting my grind before you can reap your own rewards. I mean, it's such a Destiny thing to do, right?

In the meantime, go get that Hawkmoon.
