seems to me we helped her out as much as the city. The Vex are a galactic threat.

For some reason, I don't really think the awoken really give a shit about anyone, whether it's a galactic threat or not. If it serves their purposes, then so be it.

I definitely think that's the impression the Queen likes to give off, but she did save the City when she didn't have to (according to the Grimoire).
