Yeah, certain folks might whine and cry about having to wait or grind for certain rewards,

Waiting is fine. Grinding is not.

That's the thing about ROLE-PLAYING games. Sometimes you have to work to find enough resources to build/trade for what you want.

And there's a reason that in say Dungeons and Dragons, you do not bother to role play the minutiae of your character's life. It's boring. Best to just do what's actually interesting and fun.

I'm sure you'd love to just run around the Tower's gym for 2 hours every day so you can build your stamina to actually do the stuff your guardian does.
