The Guardians of Destiny have not slowed their frenetic podcast pace just because they spent a week in LA - the latest episode actually COVERS that week.. great talk. Mark, Patrick, Chris, Derrick, and Craig take on the highs and lows (mostly highs) of their week in this two-hour extravaganza. Thanks, roland.
TTL Demag0gue told us about an article at Tied the Leader wherein gunslingers share their thoughts about Destiny's character classes. Go read it!
UncookedMoa edited together a Destiny E3 teaser trailer - check it out!

In preparation for June 10th, MathChief11 created a Destiny teaser trailer to help get the adrenaline pumping.
Cody Miller let us know that he's posted a previously-unheard first attempt at recording the Rampancy.net podcast episode we mentioned back in May. If you've got 2.5 hours to burn, you could do worse than listen to a few community regulars discuss Destiny news!
Hylebos noticed something different about the article picture for the Destiny Character Development article - it's sporting a new Hunter character class screenshot. DeeJ was able to confirm that the screenshot was in fact different and kindly provided a wallpaper version for your greedy needs. Neat!
The folks over at Guardians of Destiny released their 8th podcast, like clockwork - must have been Tuesday yesterday! Topics include Joe Staten's interview with X360 magazine, last week's Mail Sack, and feedback from listeners. This one's 90 minutes - go listen! (And thanks, Cambone.)
Bnet user thesharpspoon pointed out a few screenshots of some characters that you may have missed (I know I did) from the GDC Character Development trailer.
Gamasutra has posted their version of the Destiny talk Bungie gave at GDC this year, in their GDCVault - for free. It's a different layout than the Gamespot vid we've all seen - it allowed me to grab a few better concept art shots for our GDC Concept Art Gallery, and it's never a bad thing to have multiple sources of great content. Go take a look!
Guardians of Destiny have put out their 7th podcast - this one continues the speculation based on the GDC content, as well as Craig Hardgrove's discussion of shooters and their draw. It's more than 2 hours (again). Go listen! Thanks, Cambone.
Guardians of Destiny have released their 6th podcast - Craig Hardgrove has become a permanent host on the show, which is fantastic. This episode looks closely at the GDC talk given by Chris Barrett and Joe Staten - great speculation! Thanks to Cambone for the heads-up.
IGN talked to Joe Staten about how you're going to identify with the character you play in Destiny - and why it'll make you want to play more. Go give it a read!
Bungie's GDC presentation, Brave New World: New Bungie IP, will be available for viewing live on Gamespot today at 4:00 p.m. Pacific. Delivered by Christopher Barrett and Joseph Staten, the hour-long presentation will give an insight into the process of designing and building the worlds of Destiny, from concept to production. While the talk is certainly focused toward game developers, many in the community will be interested to peek behind the curtain and catch some new perspectives on Destiny to tease our imaginations and fuel our collective speculation.
The livestream page currently has a countdown, but should automatically update once the session starts. And if you missed it previously, the official bulletin can be found on the GDC session page. Thanks to rliebherr for the Gamespot link reminder in the forum!
Guardians of Destiny have released their fourth podcast - discussion focuses on content from the latest Edge magazine, recent patent filings, and this week's Mail Sack. Thanks, Xenos.
OXM UK posted an article detailing some of the reasons Bungie decided to go with both a science fiction and fantasy setting for Destiny.
Fantasy brings us this texture that we can wrap around sci-fi, which is really appealing, especially if you're an artist who's just been stuck making straight up space armour for ten years. A bit of cloth is very refreshing.
The coolest characters always have capes! Thanks, Xenos.
The latest episode of the rampancy.net podcast has been posted; Narcogen, Blackstar, Miguel Chavez, and Cody Miller have a 56-minute discussion on Bungie's Destiny reveal. Give it a listen! (If you're having trouble with the in-browser player, here is the MP3 URL).
The Guardians of Destiny have released the second episode of their Guardian Radio podcast - go listen! Thanks, Cambone.
Cambone stopped by the forum to tell us about Guardian Radio - a podcast for fansite TheGuardiansOfDestiny.com. Their first episode is out on iTunes and clocks in at 91 minutes. Check it out!
Matt Soell, ex-Bungie Community Guy extraordinaire, drops his 2 cents about Bungie's tantalizing Destiny reveal and the resulting outcry from the video game press about wanting more information from the announcement. It's a good read from someone who knows Bungie better than most.
Because it's good to have a record of these things, we've put up a copy of the Activision Press Release for Destiny - but you can find it on Activision's investor site, as well. (We'd put up Bungie's version, but I couldn't find one.) It's mostly stuff you've seen elsewhere - but there was one line worth pointing out:
Activision reiterated that although Bungie's amazing new world was revealed today, Activision has not included the launch in its 2013 outlook and there should be no speculation or expectation of a different result.
Wonga. (Amazon's got December 31, 2013 as a release date - clearly, that's just a placeholder.) Thanks to JDQuackers for the heads-up.
