What true thing about Destiny would've made you not buy it? (Destiny)

Everyone's said it already--the Year 1 middle finger, the worthless grind, switching out Ghosts...

That's reasons for me to roll my eyes at Destiny.

What would've made me stop--this light level nonsense; i.e. here.

I already said all I needed to say in that post, so I won't rehash it here. But that's one of those 'seemed like such a good idea at the time' type things.

To elaborate on the worthless grind--don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the raids--all three of them--but Nicolas Cage was completely right--raids are the most difficult activities ever. There's this guy I know, an old friend--we met boosting for Halo Wars and we kinda clicked--every single time I saw him online--EVERY time--he was doing a raid. And I'm not talking one per character per week, either. He was doing multiple raids per day, with different people! (Sherpa?) He raided so much we never really got to hang out any more, and we pretty much grew apart. Non-stop. I don't have time for frequent raids--not just because of the tedium of finding six people, but usually in the LFG's (and sometimes DBO too) most people don't know what they're doing, easily tripling the time spent in a single activity. Meanwhile out in the normal PvE(and at home in the Tower) all the engrams we get are pretty much garbage. Even the legendaries are shameful now. You work for days on end to get 200 Legendary Marks and you come home and everything is 280. In Year 1, all I got was worthless blues. In Year 2, all I'm getting is worthless purples. I personally don't think patrollers(F7) and bounty hunters should get such a big jump, but an occasional armor piece that's actually stronger than what you have equipped would be really nice.

And bring Dinklage back. This kiddie ghost is NOT working out.
