New POE thoughts? (Destiny)

Level 41 kinda feels the same to me. It's a tad more challenging with the taken enemies, but man the Destiny enemies are so boring. I just can't get into PvE unless I'm doing a new raid.

Overall, I'm feeling a little disappointed with the new content. The new story quest/strike is pretty blah. I hate to feel that way, because I've loved the game and tried to stay positive through all the ups and downs. The new blighted strike is sooooo weak. Nothing new at all.

I'm liking the new chroma feature, but it seems odd the way they implemented it. Did we really need another consumable just to pick a color?

That grind is real. I didn't even reach 310 before the update because I was kinda burned out. Tonight I caught myself playing stuff just to get those new light level items, and it was the first time I really felt like it was the only reason I was doing something in Destiny. I really just wanted to play a mission or two, and then hit up the crucible. But a PoE, 2 heroic strikes, 2 runs on the blighted strike later, no crucible. Bad thing is that I want to get back into trials, and I'm always ready for iron banner, but those are light level sensitive :(

Ok I'll stop there, I'm beginning to sound like the gripers I've often frowned at.
