It also looks like it will come around roughly the same time as D3, meaning Bungie will have an opportunity to work on an answer.
I have the feeling that by that point Bungie won't really have to answer to any other game... Not saying that D3 is going to be so wonderful that they don't need to bother, it more that they will be doing their own thing for so long they won't care.
If other games end up being better than Destiny, then they do have to care. One of the drawbacks of AAA+ is that there is only room for so many… With AAA you can play and enjoy your 5-20 hours or whatever and move to the next one. With AAA+ which requires you to play constantly, people have to kind of stick with the same thing for a while. Especially if they spent money on the microtransactions.
