10. Speaking of the Traveler, I think what we have been calling the Traveler is actually the Great Machine that the Fallen built to harvest ether from it. The actual traveler is somewhere inside the device. I didn't get to play on the Farm, but I saw the gif timelapse of it where you could see... the traveler? Cracked in half and leaking something (Ether? Light?) off in the distance. I don't know what the Traveler is, but i think the machine we call the Traveler is just a shell. Or an egg..?

This is an interesting idea. The lines and texture on the surface added with the exposed architecture definitely give it a manufactured feel. Considering how little information there is about the Traveler and how obviously significant it is...there is tons of room for speculation.

Let's get really crazy. Destiny takes place in the same universe as Halo but further in the future. The hive is an advanced race/version of flood. Gravemind is a wormgod and was surpassed and destroyed by Auryx. Upon realizing the power of the Hive, the Ark channeled its remaining life/power into it's now hollow core planet and gtfo. It began it's journey to Earth to give power back to the forerunners but got snagged by Fallen space pirates and taken to their home planet. After centuries of abuse by the Fallen, the (now known by the Fallen) Traveler, sent a warning pulse which decimated their planet and wiped out the mass majority of Eliksni population causing them to flee their planet. The Traveler now free, continues it's journey to Earth, with Fallen chasing behind. During the second leg of its journey it encountered another race, the Cabal. Learning from its mistakes, when the Cabal approached the traveler it pulsed again, vaporizing an entire Cabal fleet. Learning of this power, the Cabal is also interested and dispatches local fleets to chase, meanwhile their core faction assembles and begins their journey to Earth.
