2. Exos are Proto Vex
Hmm. I don't think so. I think the Exos were originally machines made for war, relatively unthinking. Then some of them became the vessels into which were poured the "minds" of the human simulations "rescued" from the vex simulation (a'la Maya Sundaresh). And, from there, they built more that could think for themselves.
Yea. Wasn't Cade a former human? The Vex existed long before
With the Vex, there is no "before".
