Some thoughts on Destiny 2 PC. (Destiny)

• Much like the first game, the dialogue seems to be touched up in places, though not always for the better.
  Unlike the console beta, Ghost assumes we know the Cabal already. Rather than talking about trigger-happy Space Rhinos, he acknowledges that Invasion is not the Cabal MO, which is an improvement, for sure...

• The random dialogue on the strike is another matter, though. I feel that just got worse (did the console Beta have Ghost refer to the bright light as a giant ghost? I only heard the metaphor line).
  
  
• The Settings menu is way better than the one that we have on console (of course), but especially so because Bungie has learned a bit more about letting us tweak every minor setting, from DoF to foliage details:
  
  
  
  It sucks that as of the last Beta, we didn't see anything remotely as useful on console. Unfortunately, stuff like HUD opacity is still on a menu than on a slider. Bungie, we need more Sliders!
  
  
• I hate the 60fps, it causes strain on my eyes, and I have to stop playing it periodically, but since bumping down the Vsync causes stuttering, I'm pretty much forced to keep it there. Check this clip from gameplay at 30fps:

• The new Crucible map is... Not great. It's a lot like Anomaly, but most fights are on uneven ground, and there's far too much cover. You can avoid all enemies from one side of the map to the other if you stick to the tons of cover and such. I hope the other maps are more open and less... boring.
  
  
• The game sure is pretty, though. Especially once you disable the grain effect (plz Bungie, at least give us this option on console).
