Couldn't say. Didn't have a wipe. The fight feels much faster though, so I doubt it would be needed. I was landing a comparable amount of hits in the console beta, adjusting for some ammo differences, as I don't find single targets any harder to track on a gamepad. But it was substantially easier to burn down the boss. Ads were not a major issue except when the boss went too quickly through phase 3 due to damage volume. But if the opportunity arises I'll test for science.
