All of Bungie's past efforts to be a multi game studio have not really worked out. Bungie West had to roll into the Halo team, and other games (Phoenix, Gypsum, Monster Hunter, etc) were abandoned because Halo required all hands on deck (and Phoenix just wasn't that fun apparently).
If three studios can barely make one game, it's tough to see how Bungie can do 2+ things at once. I mean geez. Even Aerospace never panned out.
