My complete argument against gear sunsetting (Destiny)

Not much to add here. I suspect people are tired of my negativity. I’m bummed at the direction the series has gone in the last year or so, and it series like it’s only going to get worse. I’m also bummed that I no longer feel that Bungie is a studio I can take at face value. I don’t that studio prioritize making great video games the way they used to. I can’t reconcile the studio that made Theater Mode and Forge with the studio that has spent a year making Bounty Simulator.

You expressed everything I think needed to be said very well.

Maybe they can turn it around somehow, but I don’t know that the series has another Taken King moment in it for me. They have to so thoroughly change underlying systems, and I just don’t think it’ll happen.

If this is the game they want to be making, that’s fine, I hope it works for them. I also think it’s supremely disappointing if this is the game they want to be making.
