so maybe in the near future we'll skip RAM all together and just focus on CPU cache and SSDs?
I mean, for throughout RAM is still 30x faster than an SSD.
With regard to latency, SSDs are measured in milliseconds. RAM is measured in NANOseconds. Your RAM is spitting out data before a beam of light can travel 10 feet.
