casual players got screwed (Destiny)

For those that played non-stop after release, the Queen's Wrath gave you tons of legendary gear that was laughably easy to get.

Plus having those extra 5 bounties each day allowed you to level up gear/rep faster to buy from factions.

You need to give up on "finding" gear in-game, and focus on buying it from the vanguard or a faction. You will get a good loot drop here and there, but it is far-between.

All these patches/fixes (not that they weren't needed) are bad for causal gamers b/c the hard core guys grind them out, get all the benefit from them, and then they are patched. This widens the gaps between the haves and the have nots.

I'm at 29 now, and have been stuck for a long time. Other than a couple of good weapons (truth and confluence), all I've gotten are shaders and one pair of boots. This weekend, I started a 2nd warlock and have gotten him up to level 12. I plan on swapping my gear back and forth between the 2 so that i can do the vault twice a week in hopes of getting warlock raid gear.

Once the Master Chief Collection comes out, I'll probably just get on to run the raid weekly, and then go back to Halo.
