I hadn't really thought about it like that, but if Destiny has some EVE-like conceits like being able to take territory (outside of the Traveler's reach of course), you could have massive wars/land grabs between organized factions for land. Of course EVE is already a step beyond that with resource control, but perhaps Destiny will have some of that also.
This is an interesting possibility, and one that would be completely foreign to me (not in a bad way). It would be pretty cool to join a bunch of other DBOers to overthrow the mighty groth and secure access to the bliggety-blah. That would really help to bind and bond subgroups within the larger online community.
