I murdered 2 Guardians (Destiny)

I'd like to delete my hunter and make another titan, but there are a few reasons preventing me from doing so:

• I don't have near enough room in my vault to keep all my weapons/gear, so I'd have to sacrifice a lot of it during the deletion process
  
  
• I'd no longer have a written record of how much time I'd spent playing. (Stat-tracking sites keep track of this on a per-character basis)
  
  
• I'd have to re-level my factions until I could spend any marks I've earned on that character.
  
  
• I'd have to play through the story missions again.
