The issue isn't the sensitivity or movement range, it's that depending on where you push it, it doesn't click at all. Because despite feeling like a button, it's a lever.

Unless the Xbox One is an entirely different design, you are the incorrect one. On the 360, your bumpers are, in fact, a single button pushed in by a single piece of plastic behind the bumper. The bumper has no lever action, unlike the triggers. In fact, part of the issue with the design is that the bumper is structurally weak towards the edge (where you likely use the bumper with the side of your finger), and thus it flexes just enough to not fully depress the button. I could depress it if I moved my finger all the way to the front of the bumper, but not on the side where I naturally push it. This is why I made the plunger longer, so that it would more easily depress the button.

I thought the fact that I opened one up, witnessed it with my own eyes, worked on, fixed it and put it back together would be verification enough that I knew what I was talking about.
