This whole discussion really confuses me and I think I just figured out why. I just let my finger lay across the bumper and squeeze the whole thing, rather than pushing one specific spot. Both controllers work equally well for me, other than the XBone being a bit stiffer. It's not like I figured that technique out because I'm super clever or anything - it's just what I do without thinking about it.

So, the statement that you "cannot" use them the same might be true, but it depends how you were using the 360 in the first place, I think.
