I think it boils down to two things. One he said things that people didn't actually want to have him say. And two, that phrase about how he wanted to poke at the developer sounds intrinsically bad even if I think in context it had a slightly different meaning.

Also, Text vs video or even audio makes a HUGE difference. You start thinking the worst from the context.

I mean DBO wouldn't know anything about this right?
