I have no idea why it being Solar, specifically, should mean anything in particular over simply elemental at all.

Or why Six Dreg Pride is itself more special than any other PoE gun.

Edit: Maybe it can just only come in Solar? I don't really know how the II weapons work.

There isn't a solar hand cannon from the raids. Six Dreg Pride or Jewel of Osiris from Skolas or the Lighthouse are the only ways to get one.
