I want to buy Emotes, but their implementation is bad. (Destiny)

So... I have not spent any real money on emotes. I bought 2 with the free silver, and decided I couldn't justify spending real money on these things.

The problem is how they work. You can only use 1 new emote at a time!

I LOVE the new emotes. I'd definitely be willing to spend actual money to get some of the other emotes if I could use more than 1 at a time... Why can't we just have a controller scheme where holding down the left D-pad brings up an emote wheel where we chose one of many possible options! As it is now, I can only use one at a time, and that my friends, is super lame.

At the very least, let us map all 4 directions to our own liking.

Also, I'm not even spending real money per se, a friend gifted me a Gamestop giftcard for setting up a Halo 4 LAN party for his baby shower (yes, it was awesome).
